I’m happy to see you here!

Hey there! I’m Alison — a User Experience Designer based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. Over the past 9 years I’ve lead the product design for innovative startups, worked with well-known brands like HoMedics, Cotton Inc, and LabCorp, and I’ve founded several startups of my own.

I’m currently a Senior User Experience Designer on the WW eCommerce team at Lenovo, the world's largest PC maker. I work closely with a team of PMs, researchers, and analysts to design tests, optimizations, and brand new experiences for worldwide visitors.

As a UI/UX Designer, my expertise lies in crafting memorable digital experiences, and my happy place exists somewhere between users' goals, business' objectives, and stakeholders' needs. I enjoy solving real problems through design, and I recognize that the best solutions come from eliciting the feedback of others and validating every decision. My positivity, empathy, and curiosity are my superpowers when it comes to advocating for users, working with others, and approaching complicated design problems.

With an educational background in psychology and extensive research experience, I approach every problem with a mixture of creative curiosity and logical problem solving. Meticulous by nature, I am most fulfilled by crafting design solutions that result in exceptional product experiences. I possess the dedication, judgement, and skill to quickly ship high-quality projects. I thrive in cross-functional teams and delight in explaining design decisions to stakeholders.

I take pride in my dedication to the field and enjoy staying up-to-date with the industry’s latest news and best practices. At this time, I am not taking on freelance projects, but I’m more than happy to point you in the right direction.

When I’m not busy designing, you can probably find me reading the latest mystery novel, walking my pup, Checo, working out with Peloton, or planning my next travel adventure.
